Autumn Romance at Parque Ridley Creek | Rose + Nate's Wedding
Fall weddings happen at such a rapid pace that I don’t always get a chance to fully appreciate the beauty of each one in turn. That was true for Nate and Rose’s late October wedding celebration at Parque - an idyllic Delaware County wedding venue located at the historic Hunting Hill Mansion inside Ridley Creek State Park. In true seasonal fashion, their outdoor ceremony coincided with a totally un-forecasted 20 minute downpour, but Rose and Nate managed to grab some umbrellas (and some drinks) and focus on enjoying their time with friends and family.
MY favorite elements of Rose and Nate’s wedding day were the lush floral arrangements adorning their outdoor ceremony space, (including a jaw-dropping, flower-wrapped fountain) and their high-energy dance floor featuring Blink 182 covers and other live music courtesy of Cherry Crush Band. I’ll always love shooting portraits among the picturesque stone structures and grounds of Hunting Hill Mansion at Ridley Creek, but my favorite photos captured all day might actually be the emotional moments Rose shared with her mother, father, and grandmother before the ceremony - (if you’ve never considered it, here’s your sign to have a first look with your grandma!)
