Hopewell, NJ Backyard Wedding | Sarah + Matt

I'll just say it - I've shot some of my favorite weddings of all time this summer. Despite wearing masks, despite the stress and uncertainty: the rescheduled, downsized weddings I've been shooting during the "Summer of Covid-19" have still managed to be beautiful, creative, emotional, and filled with love. They're FUN too!

Sarah told me she'd originally wanted to steer away from too many DIY wedding projects; but once she and Matt decided to move their reception to a tent in their backyard, she had to get crafty. In addition to a stunning terra cotta color palette (and some of the most beautiful florals I've ever seen), Sarah and Matt's wedding featured individual hand sanitizers instead of place cards, personalized masks for guest favors, and all-natural insect repellent for every table.

The summer heat didn't stop guests from celebrating with cocktails, lawn games, dancing and laughter. Enjoy the photos from this beautiful July wedding, and spread love - NOT germs!
