Intimate NJ Peach Orchard Jewish Wedding | Jeff + Kyra

To say the pandemic is taking the fun out of wedding planning is an understatement. Jeff and Kyra’s 130 person wedding was planned for April in King of Prussia, rescheduled for July, and cancelled (yet again) two days prior. I’ve sat on a number of calls with broken-hearted brides and grooms this year, but NOTHING compared to getting that text from Kyra.

Within 24 hours though - they were on to Plan B (or C? D?) With a little creativity, flexibility, and help from some generous wedding vendors, Jeff and Kyra were still able to exchange vows in a modernized Jewish wedding ceremony, in front of their loved ones, under the most beautiful floral Chuppah I've ever seen. What should have been a raucous party turned out to be an intimate and emotional day celebrating faith, family and love. My favorite part of the day? Signing the Ketubah (or marriage contract) when the rabbi acknowledged that mothers have “special magical powers” on wedding days and asked both Jeff & Kyra’s moms to share some wisdom with their newly married children. EVERYONE was choked up (including the photographer.) Congratulations to these beautiful people - can't wait to pop bottles with them in 2021! 🍾
