Maya & Asiqur’s day was full of thoughtful vintage-inspired details, local wedding vendors, and nods to their respective Polish and Bangladeshi heritages. I was in love with their art nouveau invitations (designed by the bride!), perfect autumn florals by Twig Gardens, and the intimate, dinner party feel of their tented and twinkly reception. Enjoy the photos from this unique and glamorous October wedding!
Read MoreEach wedding I photograph touches my heart in a special way. I love seeing the ways couples choose to celebrate their most important life commitment, and the ways THEIR favorite people react and respond around them. This year I photographed glamorous 400 person extravaganzas in the heart of Center City Philadelphia, backyard weddings, farm weddings, and second weddings. I photographed a Syro Malabar wedding ceremony, a Polish bread-and-salt exchange, two ice cream truck exits, a backyard reception firework show, two Catholic Latin Mass Nuptial Liturgies, and an anniversary celebration for a couple who waited two years (and a baby!) to finally bring their loved ones together to celebrate their marriage. Reflecting on each one is a reminder to me of why I LOVE love, why I believe marriage is so. gosh. darn. important; and why I feel incredibly blessed and lucky to be doing my dream job every day - working with my clients to create art out of their most significant, life-changing moments.
Read MoreSteven and Lauren are the type of couple I love to photograph - joyful, affectionate, and so playful! Following a tearful first look, they planned several surprises for each other and their guests, including an elaborately choreographed first dance (complete with nods to "Dirty Dancing"), a ukulele serenade, and a surprise visit from Lauren's dog.
Read MoreMy favorite elements of Rose and Nate’s wedding day were the lush floral arrangements (including a jaw-dropping, flower-wrapped fountain) and their high-energy dance floor featuring Blink 182 covers and other live music. My favorite photos captured all day might actually be the emotional moments Rose shared with her mother, father, and grandmother before the ceremony - (if you’ve never considered it, here’s your sign to have a first look with your grandma!)
Read MoreEven aside from their traditional Latin Rite wedding ceremony, there was so much to love about Jessica and Taylor’s day. Thoughtfully planned outfit details, perfectly mild late-September weather, a dried flower toss on the steps of the Church, a golden sunset and a delicious meal shared among friends on the patio of Clifton Mansion made this Baltimore, MD wedding truly unique and memorable.
Read MoreLooking back at Jena & Mark’s photos, I’m struck remembering big emotions and a strong sense of "home". Nieces, nephews, and childhood friends all played crucial roles in every aspect of the wedding. Mark’s dad hooked him up with a classic convertible so he could feel like James Bond for the day while driving to photo locations among the beautiful hills and fields of Chester County. The whole day culminated with a perfect golden sunset and an epic dance party under strings of twinkle lights.

Read MoreIn 2021, I delivered 27,762 edited wedding photos to the brides and grooms who worked with me. My favorite pictures every year are NEVER my most technically “perfect” images, choosing just a few to sum up (another) crazy wedding season always seems a little impossible, but here are a few pictures from 2021 that( for one reason or another) just grab my heart. Thanks again to ALL my 2021 clients and cheers to a new year!
